Noeline Cuker

Noe was born on the West Coast of Ireland in 1972 and immigrated to the United States in 1989 to attend university. She has always been passionate about sports and was consistently on the volleyball, basketball, and track teams in high school (it was the only way to escape the nuns!).  While attending university, Noe took a hiatus from her athletics deciding instead to focus on her studies and her other passion, psychology.

In 2018 after many years away from sports, she was lured back by a friend into trying out for a triathlon team, Full Throttle Endurance, at her gym, Chelsea Piers. After two years on the team, she has podiumed almost every race she entered and has qualified in both years for National Championships in her age group for both the Olympic & Sprint races, but eventually decided not to compete due to her fitness level and Covid.

She is always working on improving and is patiently training with the hope of eventually qualifying for the World Championships and representing Team USA with her teammates.

Sam joined Full Throttle 10 years ago and has long been a both a steady competitor as well as a supportive voice at the club.  Sam played many sports growing up and played 4 years of lacrosse in college but has had to work hard on developing his aerobic base and slower twitch muscles. With no one strength, and a body far larger than a typical triathlete, Sam works hard to find gains anywhere he can get them and has slowly and patiently improved each year.  Sam is a 3 time USAT All-American and 2 time Team USA member.  When not at Chelsea Piers enforcing strict lane send-off times and excoriating any unwelcome foot slap, he can usually be found exploring Manhattan with his family and, most likely, eating.
